Kickoff Events 2024-2025 Tournament Terms and Conditions

IMPORTANT INFORMATION - Tournaments and Tours

Kickoff Events operates as a tournament and a tour organiser, and all accommodation is handed by our independent travel agent  for participants, including players, parents and carers, club officials, this must be booked directly through Kickoff Events. This helps us to ensure our  Tournaments are of the highest calibre. Those who do not book accommodation through our services will not be considered part of the tournament or tour and will not have permission to  attend the tour venues, or participate in matches.*

*UK tournaments are currently treated on a tournament base only. Accomodation is not necessary but can be arranged upon request. 

Kickoff Events works through an Independent Travel agent and therefore is a  Linked Travel Arrangement.  Accommodation  is ABTA-covered though  Inteletravel, providing additional financial protection.

 

Booking Process

  1. Provisional Booking
    You can make a provisional booking by contacting Kickoff Events, subject to availability. We will hold your team’s place for up to a week without any obligation providing it is more than 80 days before the tournament. 
  2. Team Registration
    Teams are required to complete the Kickoff Events Team Registration Form and pay the non-refundable 20% Team Deposit Registration Fee. Once your registration is accepted, you will receive a confirmation email.
  3. Team registrations for UK tournament shall be paid in full through the booking app. 
  4. Accommodation Booking - Tours & Partner Clubs
    After choosing your accommodation and registering your team, Kickoff Events will provide the academy or club a link for payment. A deposit of 20% per person is required unless otherwise previously agreed and the final balance is due 10 weeks before the tournament unless otherwise agreed due to the terms of the accommodation booking .

 

European Tournament Itinerary - One day Tournaments- Example

Day 1 - Arrival at your team’s leisure.
Day 2 - Full day tournament
Day 3 - A stadium tour or other group activity can be arrange upon request.

Day4- Head home at your leisure.

  • Arrival Day:
    Teams arrive and check into accommodation. There is no football scheduled on the day of arrival. A Zoom briefing for Group Leaders and Coaches will take place at 8 PM.
  • Tournament Day :
    Tournament matches will commence at 10am, Please ensure you arrive by 9.30am.  with group stage matches first before a knock-out system. Teams should expect to play 5-8 games over the course of the day depending on the format and progression. A presentation ceremony will take place in the late afternoon .

 

Rules, Fixtures, and Final Briefing

A final briefing, including tournament rules, fixtures, and schedules, will be sent to Team Leaders 7-10 days before the event. 
All participants are required to adhere to the rules and guidelines provided by Kickoff Events, which are sanctioned by the appropriate national football association.

Accommodation Details

All accommodation for Tours and tournaments must be booked through Kickoff Events. Accommodation will be offered and booked on a first-come, first-served basis. If your preferred choice is unavailable, you will be offered alternatives. 

 

Cancellation Policy

  • Team Cancellation
    Team Deposits are non-refundable if a team chooses to cancel. Cancellations policy can be viewed here: https://www.kickoffevents.co.uk/cancellation-policy/
  • Accommodation Cancellation
    If accommodation needs to be cancelled, deposits may be non-refundable depending on the individual booking terms. Cancellation charges are calculated from the date Kickoff Events receives the cancellation request.

 

Behaviour & Conduct

All teams, officials, and spectators must adhere to the Kickoff Events Code of Conduct. Misconduct may result in the disqualification of the entire team from the tournament. Kickoff Events reserves the right to terminate bookings without refund in extreme cases of unacceptable behaviour.

 

Insurance

Kickoff Events are covered by Public Liability Insurance, but this does not extend to individual participants. We strongly recommend that all teams and participants arrange personal insurance covering accidents, injuries, or cancellations.

 

Photography and Media

By registering, you agree that Kickoff Events may use any photographs or videos taken during the tournament for promotional purposes. If you wish to opt out, please notify Kickoff Events at least 7 days prior to the event.

Force Majeure

Kickoff Events does not accept liability for any loss or damage caused by circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to war, natural disasters, pandemics, or adverse weather conditions.
