Cancellation Policy and Payment Terms - Tournament Entry
This document outlines the cancellation and payment terms applicable to all bookings made with Kickoff Events Ltd. By submitting a booking and making payment, academies and clubs agree to be bound by these terms.
Initial payment- Holding Deposit - European Tours Only
- Amount: 20% of the total cost
- Due Date: On the day of registration
- This payment is non-refundable.
Final Payment - European Tours Only
- Amount: The remainder of the balance
- Due Date: 10 weeks before the tournament date or date stipulated by the accomodation provider
Cancellation Policy
Notice of Cancellation:
Cancellations must be made in writing via email to Kickoff Events. The date of cancellation will be determined by the date on which Kickoff Events acknowledges receipt of the cancellation notice. It is the responsibility of the academy or club to ensure that cancellation correspondence is properly received.
Refund Terms - UK Tournaments
Team Entry is non refundable once paid.
Refund Terms - European Tours & Tournaments :
Refunds will be processed in accordance with the following schedule:
More than 84 days before the event start date:
- No refund of the initial deposit.
- Any additional payments made beyond the deposit will be refunded in full.
Cancellations made 84-71 days before the event start date:
- A 50% refund of the total team cost will be provided.
Cancellations made 70-61 days before the event start date:
- A 25% refund of the total team cost will be provided.
Cancellations made 60 days or fewer before the event start date:
- No refund will be provided. However, at the sole discretion of Kickoff Events, a credit for future events may be offered.
Force Majeure
Kickoff Events shall not be liable for any cancellation, refund, or other compensation in the event that the tournament is delayed, postponed, or cancelled due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, war, strikes, pandemics, or government-imposed restrictions.
Amendments
Kickoff Events reserves the right to amend these terms at any time. Any changes will be communicated in writing to all parties with active bookings.
Governing Law
This cancellation policy is governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, and the parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
